The title will offer a science fiction action role playing game experience

Video game developer Supergiant Games announces that its new Transistor video game is set to be launched at the same time, on May 20, on both the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony and on the PC platform.

All gamers who want to get a look at a near finished build of the title can go to PAX East in Boston and stop by the official booth to play it and see what the experience has to offer in terms of story and gameplay.

Transistor will be delivered via the PlayStation Network and via Steam and will cost gamers 19.99 dollars in North America and 18.99 Euro in Europe.

The team adds in the announcement that, "We plan for a worldwide launch. Transistor includes English voiceover and text in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese."

At this moment gamers cannot pre-order Transistor but is seems that Supergiant Games does plan to make the options available in the coming days.

The title will offer a science fiction powered action role playing game experience that will focus on a powerful and mysterious sentient sword that the protagonist acquires and his fight against the forces that will try to seize it for their dark purposes.
