A new job ad suggests that developer High Moon is at the moment involved in the development of the Call of Duty franchise at Activision, although it is not yet clear what game the company is working on.

The Gamasutra-posted position is for a senior lighting artist who needs to deal with the creation and design of light sources for the game.

It states, “Using the Radiant engine, Lighters combine artistic talent with technical ability, scripting lighting to guide the player through gameplay spaces and highlight key moments.”

The name Radiant probably refers to the level editor created by id Tech, which is used inside Activision for the Call of Duty series.

The new position is required because High Moon has previously created Deadpool and Transformers, titles that used modified versions of the Unreal 3 engine.

No Call of Duty project has yet been announced for 2014, but Activision certainly has plans to release one.
