The creator of the award-winning TowerFall game Matt Thorson has announced that he is aiming to launch a PC version of the project in January 2014.

At the moment, TowerFall is an Ouya exclusive, but since the demand was so high and having won the inaugural Media Choice Award, the creator decided on a PC version.

More details on what players ought to expect from the new version have been brought by those over at Shacknews. It seems that there will be five new towers, each tower containing ten different levels as well as two new archers.

Some brand new weapons will also be available such as the Drill Arrow, that can actually penetrate a wall to reach its objective.

Besides that, there are some other incredible weapons that will excite gamers, the explosive Bomb Arrow and the Bramble Arrow. The last one spreads some spiky barbs across a particular area.

Apart from all of this, Thorson displayed some brand new stage-effecting Orbs that are similar to a VHS tracking effect.

Another future goal for TowerFall creator is to expand the game and make it available for Mac as well as Linux.
