The upcoming demon-fighting title Toukiden: The Age of Demons got an anime intro, developed by the talented artists at Studio 4°C.

Tecmo Koei's next PlayStation Vita title will present players with an expansive fantasy world, based on traditional Japanese elements and history. The third-person monster hunting game will allow players to form parties with other gamers or NPCs and hunt the demons in groups.

Toukiden: The Age of Demons is developed by the same studio behind the Dynasty Warriors series, Omega Force, and the new franchise will throw players in the middle of a perilous demon invasion, taking on the role of a brave Oni Slayer.

The cinematic trailer sets the tone and pace of the soon-to-arrive Oni slaying game, showing stoic Slayers, gnarly demons, a lot of violence, and underneath it all, a ray of hope.

Toukiden: The Age of Demons is scheduled to launch on February 14, 2014, for the PlayStation Vita.
