The team at Valve announces that it is launching a new Make War Not Love promotion just in time for Valentine's Day, which allows gamers to pick up two big strategy titles, Total War: Rome II and Company of Heroes 2, with a 50 percent price cut until Monday, February 17 at 10 AM Pacific Standard Time.

The promotion is designed to also offer fans of the two titles a chance to show off how much they love the franchises.

The company adds, "The fans who earn the highest percentage of victories in that time will win access to free DLC! Free content will be available to download once the winning side is announced until 10am pacific Saturday, February 22nd."

Valve is not saying exactly what DLC will be offered, but the promotion still gives gamers an excellent chance to pick up two games that, after a series of patches, have matured into solid experiences.
