The game tries to accurately model real-world weapon use

The development team continues to deliver videos linked to Total War: Rome II even after the official launch of the game and fans of historic strategy can now explore new footage that shows the power of thrown weapons during the Ancient Era.

Brian Blessed is offering commentary as real-world and game images are put together in order to see exactly how the team at The Creative Assembly has created mechanics that reflect the impact of the weapons class.

The studio and publisher SEGA have committed to a long-term support program for the video game, which will see factions and more content added via downloadable content packs, some of which will be free and some of which will have an attached price tag.
