The development team at The Creative Assembly is announcing that it has released the final version of the third patch for Total War: Rome II, which is designed to improve the overall game experience and fix a number of bugs.

The update will be applied automatically when a player starts the Steam digital distribution service and developers are saying that there are more than 140 overall positive changes for the strategy title.

Gamers will see that units have more hit points and move somewhat slower, which means that all tactical battles will take longer to complete and will give players more opportunities for strategic decisions.

Turns on the campaign map of Total War: Rome II should also move faster.

A full list of the improvements in the third patch can be found on the official wiki of the title.

A fourth update is set to soon enter the beta testing phase.
