The development team at The Creative Assembly announces that it is launching the ninth full patch for its Total War: Rome II, designed to improve the overall performance of the game and add support for a range of new PC technology.

The studio says that gamers will see that the game moves faster overall and that there is less strain when it comes to the unit engagements in the real time tactical battles.

The Artificial Intelligence is also smarter when it comes to committing its units and better understands when it needs to attacks and when it's better served by keeping them back so that the player risk more by moving first.

A full list of all the extensive patch notes for the ninth full update for Total War: Rome II can be ready on the official wiki of the game.
