The development team at The Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA are launching the second core patch for Total War: Rome II, which introduces more than 100 fixes to the strategy game and which was tested before launch via a beta version.

The patch downloads automatically via Steam.

A lot of changes are linked to the technical side of the game and should result in improved performance, especially for the end turn when the A.I. moves take place.

At the same time, the company is aiming to create a more balanced experience both on the strategic map and during tactical battles, with better balance between food and squalor and a decrease in the movement speed of infantry.

A full list of the changes for Patch 2 for Total War: Rome II is available on the official wiki of the game.

I have been running the beta version of the update and I have certainly seen many of the improvements that The Creative Assembly is talking about.
