14 DAY TRIAL // The Creative Assembly seems to be determined to show off the graphical power of the engine for its upcoming Total War: Rome 2 by delivering a 30000 x 9785 pixels image of the Teutoburg Forest battle that players will be able to experience once the game is out.
The scenario will be set in Anno Domini 9 and will see players take either the Roman or the German side as Publius Quinctilius Varus takes three Legions into the dark forest looking for his big victory as a commander.
In real life, no Roman soldier managed to escape, but players will be able to rewrite history in Total War: Rome 2.
The game will mix land and naval battles for the first time in the series and is expected on the PC late this year.
