Total War: Attila is a little more than one month away from its release and the team at The Creative Assembly is ready to offer more details on the factions that gamers will be able to control and the traits which make each of them unique.

A long 40-minute video delivers precious information about the Eastern Roman Empire, Saxons, Ostrogoths, and Sassanids.

Recently, The Creative Assembly has also confirmed that the Huns will be playable, with gamers able to control them in their nomad form before settling on which faction to attack and what lands to try and control.

The new Total War experience is designed to fix the problems that affected Rome II, with an improved political system, a returning family tree mechanic, and better Artificial Intelligence.

The Creative Assembly is aiming to create a game focused on survival rather than on expansion, with each faction having to deal with problems like disease and climate change, which might have a bigger impact on their strength than the attacks of their rivals.

Total War: Attila will be out on February 17 on the PC and gamers can also look forward to two companion games, Arena and Battles: Kingdom, which will expand the reach of the franchise.
