Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy's EndWar Online, the upcoming free-to-play spin-off of Tom Clancy's EndWar, will open its gates this weekend in preparation for the incoming closed beta.

The first Open Server event will start on Saturday, March 29, at 8 PM GMT, when players will have the opportunity to access the game servers for a period of 48 hours.

The truly interesting thing is that one hour after the server goes live, the first in-game Happy Hour will debut, allowing players the chance to win various rewards, such as EndWar Online themed goodies, closed beta keys and other prizes.

Players will be able to join the Theater of War on Sunday, March 30, marking the start of PvP matches that pit Factions against each other in a merciless battle that will determine who gains control over Earth's last resources.

Players who took part in last month's Technical Test will notice that the level cap has been increased from Level 20 to Level 25, allowing players to recruit more hero commanders and to access a new chapter in the single-player campaign.

Additionally, players will also receive unlimited battle point, in order to engage in as many PvE battles as they wish.

Gamers interested in the weekend open event or in the upcoming closed beta can sign up to test EndWar Online on the game's website.
