14 DAY TRIAL // Kan Gao, the indie developer that created To the Moon in 2011, announces that his new game project is called A Bird Story and has released a trailer showing off the main ideas behind the game, and that he is also working on a sequel called To the Moon 2.
The developer states, “A Bird Story is a simple, surreal short about a boy and a bird with a broken wing. Despite being story-based like most of my games, there are essentially no dialogues throughout.”
The game does share a universe with To the Moon, and the boy in the new game is involved in the previous game as a patient to Dr. Watts and Dr. Rosalene.
It will be interesting to see how the developer manages to convey his story without using any sort of dialog.
The artist list for A Bird Story includes, so far: Jordan B., the creator of Anya in To the Moon, and Gabriela A., the maker of the mementos pictures.
To The Moon 2 has not yet received any details.
