Video game developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts are planning to announce the third full downloadable content pack for their shooter Titanfall at the gaming Gamescom 2014 event, during the press conference that the company will host on August 13 at 10 AM Central European Time.

The information comes from the official Twitter feed of the game but does not offer any more information on what might be included.

Based on the previous two DLC packs that were launched for Titanfall, gamers can probably expect to get access to four new maps on which to do battle, each of them designed to offer a varied experience to both Pilots and Titans.

During the Electronic Arts press conference gamers will also be able to get more details about Battlefield Hardline, The Sims 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition and FIFA 15.

Titanfall was launched earlier this year on the Xbox One, the 360 and the PC, and rumor has it that the title has managed to move more than 3 million units to gamers.

The development team at Respawn Entertainment is also continuing to work on regular updates for the shooter, which will tweak the core balance of the title and will also introduce new game modes for the community to enjoy.
