Titanfall servers on the PC platform appear to be down at the moment, as many PC owners are affected by a major error message ("Lost Connection To Server Disconnect: ORIGIN error retrieving player data from storage – code 503") when trying to connect to the multiplayer servers of the first-person shooter through Origin.

Update: Respawn has confirmed that it's solved the problem and that the game is once again playable on PC.

Titanfall was finally released in many areas of the world yesterday on the PC and Xbox One platforms.

For now, only North Americans and certain residents of Asian territories can access the game's digital edition on the PC via the Origin service, due to the staggered release schedule.

Unfortunately, many of those PC owners are now reporting on Reddit and on the EA Help forums that they're being greeted by a major new error when trying to connect to the Titanfall multiplayer servers.

More specifically, after pressing Play in the main menu of the game, they're greeted with a message saying that "Lost Connection To Server Disconnect: ORIGIN error retrieving player data from storage – code 503."

An EA representative mentioned that EA and developer Respawn are currently aware of the issue but they don't have any solution just yet.

As such, your dose of Titanfall will have to wait for a certain period of time.
