Respawn might re-evaluate the situation at a later date

The development team at Respawn Entertainment does not plan on supporting mods for Titanfall on launch, but the company might add it after that, as long as the community shows that it can improve the experience.

The official Twitter account of company leader Vince Zampella states, “@unreal_tubby @Titanfallgame not at launch for sure, will have to evaluate after launch.”

Titanfall is being created using a heavily modified version of the Source Engine, which is designed to support player tweaks and mods.

The Respawn shooter is set to launch on the Xbox One, the 360 and the PC and it’s highly probable that console players will never be able to use mods on their versions of the game.

North American players will get access to the new game on March 11 and those in Europe will have to wait another two days before they enjoy it.
