Video game publisher Electronic Arts says that future titles in the Titanfall franchise will be launched on PlayStation devices as well as on Microsoft home consoles.

During a call with investors that was transcribed by SeekingAlpha, Blake Jorgensen, who is the chief financial officer at the company, stated, “I'm sure that there will be future Titanfalls at some point that may be on multiple product platforms.”

He also says that EA is sure that the first Titanfall will be a big title for the Xbox One and will play a big role in the success of the home console.

The mech-based game will also be offered on the PC and on the Xbox 360, but will not include any cross-platform play.

Vince Zampella, one of the leaders of developer Respawn Entertainment, has also suggested that his team will create Titanfall games for the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
