Electronic Arts has confirmed that downloadable content for its upcoming Titanfall first-person shooter is already in the works, although it will also wait for fan reaction at launch to see where it's going with the future add-ons.

Titanfall is eagerly awaited by millions of first-person shooter fans from around the world, and the game, developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA, is getting ready to debut this March.

During a recent financial earnings call, EA CEO Andrew Wilson revealed, via Joystiq, that the company is already planning and working on DLC for the new first-person shooter.

Wilson emphasized, however, that due to the nature of the online game, "I think that that will evolve over time as we see how the player base evolves through the year."

No other details were given by Wilson, so expect to hear about Titanfall's DLC after its debut in March for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
