Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that the Titanfall beta stage is now an open test, meaning anyone with an Xbox One console can download and play the online shooter.

Titanfall is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and during this weekend developer Respawn is organizing a special beta test in order to make sure everything is performing according to plan.

In order to prevent an influx of too many players, Respawn opted to use codes in order to allow them to download the beta either on PC or Xbox One.

Now, however, the code requirement has been dropped on Microsoft's console.

As such, the Titanfall open beta is available for download via the Xbox Live online service and those with Gold subscriptions can now enjoy the multiplayer shooter, according to the official Twitter account.
