Respawn Entertainment has finally begun banning cheaters in Titanfall, completely stopping them from accessing the game on the Xbox One or PC platforms.

Titanfall finally went live last week around the world for the PC and Xbox One and, while online matches have had only a couple of major issues, there have been quite a few players who decided to use cheats like aimbots or other hacks in order to gain an advantage over others.

As you can imagine, developer Respawn Entertainment isn't exactly thrilled with the rampant hacking and has confirmed in the last few days that it's monitoring its anti-cheat systems and will soon begin punishing those found violating it.

Now, the studio has confirmed on Twitter that it's started handing out bans for Titanfall cheaters on the PC and Xbox One.

More specifically, those found using hacks and cheats will no longer be able to play the game.

The developer has also highlighted that its automated anti-cheat system is keeping track of all possible cheaters and safeguards are enabled in order to prevent false positives.

While it can't go into details, as that would aid cheat makers, the studio has also mentioned that many different aspects are weighed in when classifying a cheater, not just the kill/death ratio.
