A brand new report has appeared online concerning the future Titanfall 2 sequel from Respawn Entertainment, with one source claiming that EA has secured the publishing rights for the next game, while another mentioned that it would no longer be exclusive to Microsoft consoles like Xbox One or Xbox 360, besides the PC.

Titanfall launched earlier this month on the PC and Xbox One platforms and amazed millions of fans from around the world with its multiplayer-only first-person shooter experience.

Developer Respawn has yet to talk about a potential sequel, as it wants to focus on the current title, but two new reports have appeared online.

First up, from Gamespot, it seems that EA has successfully secured the publishing rights for a potential sequel called Titanfall 2.

Another report, this time from Polygon, also claims that the next Titanfall game will no longer be exclusive to Microsoft consoles like the Xbox One or Xbox 360.

As such, you can expect the next Titanfall experience to also appear on the likes of the PS4, or even the PS3, depending on developer Respawn Entertainment.

Electronic Arts has just posted a regular "no comment" statement about the new reports, so don't expect any reveals just yet.
