Microsoft is looking to launch the Xbox One console in Japan on September 4, and apparently it's also preparing some locally flavored titles to cater to the specific tastes of Japanese consumers.

Mages and 5pb. have announced three Xbox One exclusive titles that are currently in development, over a livestream on NicoNico: Chaos;Child, Psycho-Pass: Psychopaths and Mistereet F Tantei-Tachi no Katenkoru. As can be expected, the three games will be visual novels.

Chaos;Child takes place six years after the previous installment in the series, Chaos;Head NOA, still set in Shibuya, and will tackle the theme of scientific delusions, presenting a story that is oozing suspense and psychological tension.

Psycho-Pass: Psychopaths will be tied to the anime series with the same name and will come with both Kinect and smartglass support. Although it will be based on the anime, the game will present an entirely original story.

Mistereet F will put together a remake of the classic Mistereet ya Togami Kaoru no Chosen, by Hiroyuki Kanno, with a completely new title, Mistereet 2.

Psycho-Pass: Psychopaths and Mistereet F Tantei-Tachi no Katenkoru are both under the supervision of famed producer Makotu Asada.

For the moment, both prices and release dates for the three Xbox One exclusive games are to be announced, and there is no information regarding whether the platform exclusivity is going to be permanent or just temporary.
