The development team at 11 bit Studios is announcing that the money that has been raised so far through the special charity downloadable content for This War of Mine is enough to offer support for 350 refugee children.

The studio says that War Child, the organization they have partnered with, is working in both Iraq and Jordan in order to deal with the problems kids living there are facing after fleeing from Syria.

They explain that the offered services include "psycho-social support to recover from trauma, child-friendly spaces to make sure War Child can reach a child before someone else does, informal education: school fees, livelihood support, teacher training and others."

The War Child DLC for This War of Mine is still offered until April 3, and gamers can continue to buy it if they wish to deliver support for more kids affected by conflict.

The video game from 11 bit Studios is challenging players to take control of survivors who are trying to stay alive in a city under siege.

Resources and trust are scarce, and gamers will have to make a series of tough decisions in order to keep their characters fed and safe.
