One of the biggest stories of the just opened transfer window is the announcement made by Steven Gerrard, the captain and the emblematic player of Premier League club Liverpool, that he was set to transfer in the summer, joining the LA Galaxy team from the MLS in North America.

Now the team, with help from the FIFA 15 simulation created by EA Sports, is giving its fans and the wider world a first look at how the player will look in the official shirt, something that will not happen for a few more months in the real world.

The Steven Gerrard video is short but it does show the way the new engine used for FIFA 15 can re-create moments that were once only accessible to a small number of fans.

The player has made the decision to move to LA Galaxy because he will be 35 years old later in the year and his played time was being managed at Liverpool.

FIFA 15 is at the moment the most important football sim in the world of gaming.

The development team at EA Sports will launch a major update for the title, designed to reflect all the changes that happen to team rosters in the January transfer window.
