A brand new video from EGX London offers us the chance to see the upcoming racing game Project Cars in action on the PlayStation 4 home entertainment system from Sony.

The off-screen gameplay video was recorded by the people at RajmanGaming HD, showing an Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 rolling on the Dubai circuit, and it looks pretty good.

While Driveclub might arguably look better from a visual standpoint, Project Cars intends to provide a more realistic simulation of driving and the entire racing experience.

In order to deliver the ultimate driving experience, the team has acquired the services of actual professional racing drivers, and is taking their feedback into account when tweaking the proprietary Madness engine to perfection.

Developer Slightly Mad Studios previously worked on Need for Speed: Shift and Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends, so all that experience will be put to good use. In addition to this, the studio is also currently working on a massively multiplayer online racing game titled World of Speed, which will launch into closed beta sometime before the end of the year.

The dev team aims to have the game out on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe, headed to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. Later on in 2015, Project Cars will also land on SteamOS and Nintendo Wii U.
