Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is now out in Japan, and a full hour of footage is already out for the entire world to enjoy.

Those still waiting for the western release of the rhythm-based dungeon crawler can enjoy a full hour of in-game footage from the Japanese one, uploaded by YouTube user NintenDaan, unfettered and unedited, showing the entire gaming experience.

The video features the game's opening, along with the party selection phase and several songs, and the best part about it is that it was recorded showing both screens, offering viewers a good notion on how the game is played.

The game features over 60 playable characters from the Final Fantasy universe as well as 221 awesome songs spanning from the initial 1987 Final Fantasy that started the entire franchise up to the latest iteration, the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

The game is a sequel to 2012' Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and adds a new Versus Battle mode allowing players to challenge their friends to decide once and for all who's the best at tapping to various tunes, as well as a Quest Medley mode, which lets players choose their own route through various quest lines.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call was released today in Japan and was also confirmed to land in North America and Europe later this year, exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming device.
