As Square Enix is getting ready to release the fan service / rhythm game hybrid that is Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, more information and teasers are popping up on the Internet.

The role-playing game has been confirmed to possess over 200 original songs (221 to be more exact, not including any DLC) from all across the Final Fantasy series, from the tunes that Black Mage was whistling back in 1987 up to the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn score.

So, it's time to feast your eyes (and ears) on a 26-minute-long gameplay video, showcasing various songs from Final Fantasy VII through Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Long-time fans of the series will no doubt recognize many of the characters from various games, the description stating that they should be somewhere around 60. We're still waiting for the unofficial fan count.

The upcoming game also comes with a bit of a surprise, in the form of two tunes from two Romancing SaGa titles.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is scheduled to come out on April 24 in Japan, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console. For now, a western release is in limbo, as an official statement is yet to come.
