The Nintendo 3DS exclusive title features 221 songs from all across the series

Square Enix has confirmed that its musical action role-playing game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will be released in Europe and North America in September.

The rhythm-based game is a sequel to 2012's Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and will come exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming device.

Square Enix is also offering a very limited Collector's Edition, with only 5,000 copies available, exclusively through the Square Enix Online Store.

The Collector's Edition includes a Theatrhythm-themed Nintendo 3DS carrying pouch along with 20 tracks from Curtain Call's extensive soundtrack on a CD and five collectible cards that feature various pieces of artwork from the game.

Players who opt to pre-order the standard edition of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call get a free upgrade to the Limited Edition, which includes a five-track CD featuring remixes from the game's soundtrack. The pre-order option is only available through selected retailers.

The game feature a whopping 221 songs from all across the Final Fantasy franchise, from its humble beginnings all the way to the massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, along with 60 popular characters for players to assume control of.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call was launched in Japan last month and will be launched on September 16 in North America, and on September 19 in Europe.
