The development team at CD Projekt RED and Dark Horse Comics announce that they are working on a new hardcore book called "The World of the Witcher," a companion book which is designed both for long-term fans of the series and for those who are trying to understand its world for the first time.

The two companies are saying that they are aiming to include original art taken from each title in the franchise and a lot of lore details while creating a high-quality package that will offer plenty of value to collectors.

The official description states, "This gorgeous, illustrated hardbound volume contains in-depth knowledge about the locales, the deadly beasts that inhabit them, and the lethal weapons used to put them down."

The World of the Witcher will be launched on March 17 of next year, and those who are interested can already place a pre-order for it on Amazon.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to arrive on February 24 of 2015 and will be the last title that will feature Geralt as the main character.

The action title will expand on the combat mechanics and will focus on a story that has deep personal meaning to the main character and can change the fate of the entire world.
