The trailer for the third installment in The Witcher series, Wild Hunt, released during Saturday's VGX and featuring in-game footage and musical score details, has also been released in high-definition quality.

The high-definition version of the game does justice to the truly impressive visuals the story-driven fantasy RPG plans to deliver. The graphical details are unbelievable and the world's panoramas are truly breathtaking.

The game is set in an extensive and beautiful open world, promised to be larger than any other modern RPGs to date, and users will be able to navigate it by means of catching sailboats and horseback riding.

CD Projekt RED studio also details some of the choices they have taken regarding the game's music. Portions of the in-game music will focus on the raw emotion elicited by traditional Slavic instruments.

The audio team has been recording using traditional and historic instruments, with various bands that are well-versed in the direction the company plans to take their sound.

The third installment in the The Witcher series is scheduled for a 2014 launch for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
