The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the next iteration in the role-playing game series from CD Projekt Red, is set to receive "some really cool stuff" as downloadable content, according to the developer.

The Witcher 3 was revealed to the world last year, and at E3 2014 last week it received a new gameplay demonstration as well as plenty of new details about its RPG mechanics, its visuals, and its content.

Now, while talking to GameZone, Lead Producer Piotr Krzywonosiuk has revealed that, while he can't discuss about the downloadable content plans for the game just yet, it will include some cool stuff, apparently.

"I can't talk about DLC, but I can assure you we are preparing some really cool stuff," he said.

The developer emphasized that The Witcher 3 would put an end to the trilogy of games focusing on protagonist Geralt of Rivia, and that due to the multiple, wildly different endings, players will have more than enough reasons to play through it again in order to see what other choices they could make.

The Witcher 2 received some DLC expansions that added new quests and other things, but CD Projekt Red was mostly concerned with improving the game in terms of mechanics or gameplay rather than just adding new stuff to do.
