CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the Xbox 360 version of its upcoming The Witcher 2 Dark Edition has sold out in Europe, a month before the game’s actual release.

The Witcher 2 delivered a great experience on the PC last year and its upcoming Enhanced Edition will improve upon it for the PC and for the Xbox 360 platforms.

In order to reward truly loyal fans, developer CD Projekt Red has already revealed a special Dark Edition package earlier this year, which included all sorts of extra goodies.

Now, the Polish studio has confirmed that it’s sold out all of the Dark Editions for The Witcher 2 on the Xbox 360 in Europe.

According to Games Industry, pre-orders for the role playing game have been extremely high on the Xbox 360, proving that console owners are extremely eager to try out the impressive title.

The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition will be out on April 17 for the PC and Xbox 360 worldwide.
