The Ubisoft Bucharest Game Jam offers an exciting 27-hour-long game creating marathon starting on April 5 and going all the way until April 6, taking place at the Tech Hub in Bucharest.

The Ubisoft Bucharest Game Jam is the perfect opportunity for game-making enthusiasts to join a team and spend 27 awesome and adrenaline-packed hours in the company of other like-minded individuals, creating a game entirely from scratch.

Apart from the mindless fun of laboring away on a new project with such a tight deadline and honing your skills, the event organizers are also offering a surprise prize for the best game.

The team that manages to find the right balance between creativity, teamwork and time management and deliver the most engaging game will win a prize of $2,803 / €2,014.

Apart from that, the Ubisoft Bucharest Game Jam also provides the space and everything else needed for game makers to focus on making their idea come to life, so they can just bring their laptops and let their creative juices flow.

Taking part in the event is a sinch, you can either team up with one or two friends or register on the Game Jam website if you don't have a team and the organizers will create new teams based on each member's skillset.

Those who make it through the first selection criteria (the skills filled in the registration form) will then have to pass an online logical test and the best 15 teams will be selected to take part in the final event. The qualifying teams will be announced on April 3, with the "27 hours of awesomeness" scheduled to take place from April 5 to April 6.
