Other great writers might also be integrated into the game

Developer Modern Dream and publisher SEGA announce that they are launching a new Shakespeare-based downloadable content pack for The Typing of the Dead: Overkill, allowing players to replace all the current words with ones based on the plays of The Bard.

The two companies state, “It’s a midsummer night’s dream come true, we’re sure you’ll agree.”

A multiplayer-based patch for The Typing of the Dead: Overkill is also available for free, allowing gamers to access a new two-player competitive story mode and more mini-games.

It seems that Shakespeare is just the first author that will get special DLC for the game and that during the coming months, the development team will explore other great writers and make their works available as weapons against the undead.

The Typing of the Dead: Overkill asks players to type out words in order to defeat zombies rather than simply shoot them.
