Blue Byte Software has announced a special Christmas event for their players. Users will be able to gather presents through several methods during this special time of the year.
Presents are the special event's resource, and will be tradable in exchange for special holiday items.
Santa himself will be available to guide players through a main Christmas quest containing 8 merry sub quests.
A new Provision House will also be available for a limited time only, providing buffs and refillers.
For the first time in the history of the game, players will have the opportunity to discover an exclusive Christmas surprise, reachable via a button right next to the avatar image, offering the chance to get special rewards each day.
All over the islands, candies will spawn and new daily quests will become available.
The Settlers Online is a web-browser free-to-play strategy game similar to the original series, published by Ubisoft in late 2012.
