One of the developers working on The Order: 1886 says that the main characters of the game will be created using more than 100,000 polygons, which is an unprecedented amount for an action game delivered on home consoles.

On Twitter the game creator is offering more details about the way the characters will be brought to life, using the power of the engine that developer Ready at Dawn is creating.

The Order: 1886 will take players back to the London of the Victorian period and will allow them to become a member of the Knights of the Round Table, who are currently battling powerful creatures that mix monster and human DNA.

The developers are promising a seamless mix of action and cutscenes with QTEs handling the transitions.

Launch is set to take place during the coming year exclusively on the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
