The Order: 1886 has been delayed to February 2015 after initially being set to be launched in the fall of this year exclusively on the PlayStation 4 from Sony, in order to give the development team more time to increase the quality of the project.

Two sources quoted by NeoGAF are claiming that they have independently found out about the delay and that an official announcement might be made after the E3 2014 event that takes place in the middle of June.

The Order: 1886 is being created by Ready to Dawn with help from Sony Santa Monica and is designed to be a showcase for the quality of both graphics and gameplay that can be delivered on the PlayStation 4.

Recently, the team gave fans a quick look at the actual gameplay and the seamless transition to cutscenes.

The Order: 1886 tells the story of an ancient order of warriors who are battling a breed of half-human, half-monster enemies for centuries.

The action takes place in Victorian London and players will be able to use a variety of futuristic weapons and powers in order to win complex battles with fast moving enemies.

Ready at Dawn has promised that its new title will take classic mechanics and add an extra layer of innovation.
