14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Ready at Dawn and publisher Sony are delivering a new trailer for their upcoming The Order: 1886, designed to show off two of the heroes of the game, Percival and Galahad, in action against a number of monstrous enemies.
Some of the combat sections have been used before in promotional material for the title, but it’s still interesting to see how the game looks in action and how various characters approach battles.
The names of the two characters are familiar to us all, because they are both part of the Knights of the Round table Arthurian legend, two of the most capable fighters that battled alongside the user of Excalibur.
Ready at Dawn says that The Order: 1886 will try to seamlessly integrate custscenes that deliver the most important narrative moments and actual gameplay, with Quick Time Events used to link the two separate game elements.
The story of the game will focus on the conflict between the Knights of the Round Table and human – monster hybrids during the late XIX century, when the Industrial Revolution is significantly changing the face of London.
Sony says that The Order: 1886 will be launched on the PlayStation 4 at some point before the end of 2014.
