The festive clip from Ready At Dawn is less creepy though

We’re about two months ahead of The Order: 1886 official release and the folks over at Ready At Dawn have decided to wish fans a more unusual season’s greeting this Christmas.

While many developers are trying to create comforting trailers whishing everyone Merry Christmas, Ready At Dawn had another approach.

You might be familiar with Dead Space’s “Twinkle, Twinke, Little Star” trailer that is one of the creepiest we’ve seen in the last couple of years. It’s been more than 6 years since it was released and it still gives many gamers goose bumps.

The latest The Order: 1886 trailer is called “Silent Night,” and instead of wishing everyone Merry Christmas, it wants to make us think about the people who have to work while others celebrate.

It’s a nice thought and a good idea that should make us think at those who can’t spend Christmas time with their loved ones like many of us usually do each year.

“As you unwrap your presents and eat mince pies, in the safety and security of your homes, spare a thought for the men and women of The Order – giving up their Christmas holidays to defend Victorian London from the monstrous forces of the Half-breeds.”
