The development team at BioWare announces that the entire Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic is now free for all those who are subscribing to the MMO.

The content was initially launched in April and cost all those interested 10 dollars or Euro and introduces an increased level cap for all characters and most of the end-gamer content, including battlegrounds and missions.

The change is being made via the 2.4 update for the MMO and those who have already bought Rise of the Hutt Cartel will get access to a number of exclusive game items.

The patch is also introducing a new Dread War storyline, which is accessible to all characters that are over level 55.

At the moment, Star Wars: The Old Republic is free-to-play, but the experience offers more content and extra mechanics for those who are willing to pay a monthly fee.
