Ubisoft's free-to-play castle-crashing dungeon crawler The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is attempting to entice players this weekend, offering them the chance to try out its heroes for free, from now until Tuesday.

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot tasks players with creating a deadly maze of traps and monsters to protect their hoarded loot while they themselves venture out in search of glory, most often found in ravaging other player's castles.

The game currently offers four playable characters, the Archer, Mage, Knight and the Runaway, and the first three are offered for no charge to all players during this weekend, from now until Tuesday, April 22, at 7 PM GMT / 3 PM EDT.

In addition to using the heroes, you can also pick up new DLC for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot at a 50 percent discount, and get to keep the heroes until the end of time.

The Free Hero Weekend is open to both existing as well as completely new players, and the latter will get to keep the first hero they select, once the event is over, so choose carefully. Also for new players to keep in mind, they will be able to access the other free heroes only after defeating Count Snottingham with their first selected hero.
