Ubisoft has announced that their free-to-play multiplayer dungeon builder/crawler The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot is planned to enter open beta on February 25.

The game brings its players a unique perspective, as opposed to other similar games that only dealt with raiding various dungeons scattered around the game world, The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot will have players try to survive and steal the riches from other players’ dungeons.

Ubisoft's game presents loot hoarders with an interesting challenge. All players know that the richest spoils would be found inside other gamers' lairs, and as such each of them has the option to craft traps and build intricate mazes laden with hazards, in order to protect their collection of loot from any intrusion.

The closed beta test phase revealed that the most popular class was the Warrior, Sir Painhammer, followed by the Mage and then the Archer. The open beta will introduce a new class to the game, the Runaway, a weird mid-range class wielding a musical axe.
