The team led by Keiji Inafune working on The Mighty No. 9 is adding a new set of stretch goals to the Kickstarter project, designed to add more content for fans of the concept and eventually launch the game on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft.

Gamers need to donate more than 3.3 million dollars (2.4 million Euro) in order to deliver a version of the experience for next-gen consoles.

Before they get there, a number of other goals are present which will see a new challenge mode added, with remixed versions of already existing stages, the creation of a new level and boss and, finally, a new cooperative mode that will star a second player controlling Beck.

The Kickstarter update also includes more information on how the Comcept team has created one of the fire bosses that will appear in The Mighty No. 9.
