Eiji Aonuma, a producer working on the Zelda franchise at Nintendo, announces that the company plans to launch The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Seasons on Western markets before the end of spring.

The title is expected to arrive on the 3DS and will be offered as a straight port of the Game Boy Color title, according to GameInformer.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Seasons was initially a two-title package, designed to allow gamers to transfer content.

Both stories need to be finished for a player to understand the entire plot.

The original release took place during 2001 and the game has been offered via the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS handheld in Japan since late February.

Since it was launched, the company has pledged that it will add more Zelda content to the device.
