Nintendo has announced that it is working on a sequel for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the 3DS and a new video has surfaced showing the demo that the company has given at its presentation event.

The footage is nine minutes long and the player takes his time showing off the general design of the game and how various features are working at the moment.

Nintendo says that new title featuring Link will use all the unique features of the 3Ds, although it has not offered any clear details.

The company has also been silent when it comes to the connection between the game and the first Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, but this could be the first true sequel in the series.

Launch is expected to take place before the end of 2013.
