The Legend of Korra video game has just gotten a behind-the-scenes video, showing some intense action sequences and with commentary from the developers.

The game comes from Platinum Games, the makers of the Bayonetta series, and is based on Nickelodeon's popular anime show of the same name.

The video features commentary from Platinum Games Producer Atsushi Kurooka, talking about creating the video game and the challenges and expectations such an undertaking entails.

Players will assume control of Korra, the series' lead character, fighting villains from throughout the first two seasons of the show.

The gameplay involves martial arts and bending, which is a sort of magical ability to control the elements of water, earth, air and fire, each of which comes with a certain combat particularity.

The game will start out right after Korra was stripped of all her powers, and gamers will have to guide the heroine and assist her in regaining her former power.

The Legend of Korra is scheduled to come out on October 21 on PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and on October 22 on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One home consoles.

Platinum Games' other brawler, Bayonetta 2, is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Wii U on October 24, and is already available in Japan. The studio is also working on a mysterious Xbox One exclusive video game titled Scalebound.
