Falcom has released the first full-fledged trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki Evolution, which is scheduled to land on the PlayStation Vita this summer.

The seventh entry in The Legend of Heroes role-playing game saga, Ao no Kiseki, was initially released by Falcom on the PlayStation Portable in 2011.

The action takes place several years after The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and is set in another country, Crossbell, where players follow rookie investigator Lloyd Bannings as he goes into the death of his brother.

The PlayStation Vita version is not just a port, but a full remake, as it features improved gameplay, overhauled visuals and full-voice acting for the entire storyline.

The official trailer shows plenty of gameplay footage, showcasing the beautiful soundtrack and many improvements players can expect from the remake of the popular PSP title.

Falcom has also revealed what players will be getting in the special Collector's Edition of Legends of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki Evolution, buyers of which will get original figures of Lloyd and Tio and a 30-minute drama CD, in addition to a copy of the PS Vita game.

Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki Evolution is currently scheduled to come out for the PlayStation Vita handheld gaming platform from Sony on June 12, in Japan.
