Naughty Dog has finally confirmed that it's going to debut The Last of Us Remastered edition for the PS4 this summer and its Creative Director, Neil Druckmann, has revealed that the studio is targeting a 60fps framerate for the game.

The Last of Us appeared back in June of last year for the PS3, amazing millions of gamers from around the world with its top-notch story, its pretty good visuals, and the addictive multiplayer. The game was enhanced via DLC with fresh multiplayer modes, items, and a single-player expansion called Left Behind.

Yesterday, the game was confirmed to appear on the PS4 this summer in the form of a Remastered edition, which includes all the DLC, as well as different enhancements, like a 1080p full HD resolution.

The framerate, however, wasn't discussed in the official announcement, so quite a lot of people started worrying about the game not reaching the 60fps gold standard.

Now, Neil Druckmann has confirmed on Twitter that the Naughty Dog team is targeting a 60fps framerate but, so far, an official confirmation can't be given, as work is still progressing on the actual project.

The game is set to appear this summer but a concrete date hasn’t been offered by Naughty Dog or Sony.
