The Last of Us Remastered has started its staggered release schedule and Sony has also begun allowing owners to get patch 1.01, the day-one update that includes the Photo mode and many other improvements.

After impressing millions of fans worldwide on the PS3 platform last summer, The Last of Us is making its debut this week on the PS4 platform in the form of a remastered edition that includes better visuals but also all the DLC already launched for the PS3 version.

Naughty Dog previously confirmed that a day-one patch was going to launch alongside the game on the PS4, and now it seems that the update is already live for owners of the game.

According to GearNuke, patch 1.01 for The Last of Us Remastered includes a variety of improvements, such as the Photo mode that allows players to adjust the camera and rendering effects to take the best images in the game. A making of documentary video is also added by the update, not to mention higher-quality shadows when using the 30fps lock option.

The multiplayer mode has also received a few bug fixes relating to smoke bombs, late joining, or interrogation respawn.

The brand new patch is already live for download via the PlayStation Network. The Last of Us Remastered is currently going live across North America and will launch in Europe and other regions in the following days.
