Video game developer Naughty Dog and publisher Sony are delivering the first official trailer for the The Last of Us Remastered, which is set to be launched on the PlayStation 4 home console at some point in the summer of this year.

The team is focusing on the narrative that the game is delivering and on the more than 200 Game of the Year awards that it has managed to collect since it was launched on the PlayStation 3, which show the quality of both the story and the gameplay associated with it.

Naughty Dog says, "Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a young teenage girl who's braver and wiser beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States."

The Last of Us Remastered will include all the additional content that has been launched for the title and those who are ready to pre-order the game will also get access to more single player and multiplayer unlocks.

On the PlayStation 4 the game is set to run at 1080p resolutions and full 60 frames per second and Naughty Dog promises that those who have already played the experience will see a major improvement in terms of quality.
